about us

Our Story

The Future Nurses Health Alliance (FNHA) was born from a vision: to create a world where Ugandan nurses have access to sustainable employment opportunities and fulfilling career paths. We believe well-equipped and empowered nurses are essential for delivering quality healthcare, not only in Uganda but across the globe.

Our Mission:

  • Empowering Ugandan Nurses: We connect Ugandan nurses with stable employment opportunities within Uganda and prepare them for international careers, particularly in Europe.
  • Bridging the Gap: We address the critical shortage of nurses in Europe by providing healthcare institutions with qualified and dedicated Ugandan nurses.
  • Advancing Healthcare: We strive to improve healthcare delivery by fostering international collaboration and promoting excellence in nursing practice.

Our Core Values:

At the heart of everything we do are our core values:

  • Excellence: We are committed to promoting the highest standards of nursing practice and continuous learning.
  • Versatility: We embrace adaptability and believe in the importance of nurses possessing a range of skills.
  • Integrity: We uphold ethical conduct and honesty in all our interactions, fostering trust and transparent relationships.
  • Selflessness: We prioritize patient well-being and the greater good, understanding the vital role nurses play in healthcare delivery.
  • Dignity & Respect: We treat everyone with compassion, fairness, and respect, valuing diversity and inclusivity.
  • Responsibility & Accountability: We act with integrity and take ownership of our actions, ensuring responsible and ethical practices.
  • Collaboration: We believe that by working together, sharing knowledge, and embracing different perspectives, we can achieve even greater positive impacts on global healthcare.

The FNHA is driven by a vision to create sustainable employment opportunities and career development pathways for Ugandan nurses. We believe that well-equipped and empowered nurses are essential for delivering quality healthcare, both in Uganda and around the world.

Our Approach:

  • We partner with healthcare institutions in Uganda and Europe to identify employment needs.
  • We provide nurses with training programs and resources to enhance their skills and qualifications.
  • We facilitate the international recruitment process for qualified nurses seeking European opportunities.

Impact:

Our work strengthens the nursing workforce in Uganda while addressing the critical shortage of nurses in Europe. This creates a win-win situation for both regions.
