At our NGO, we are committed to supporting you every step of the way as you begin your new life and career in Austria. Here’s a detailed list of what we cover to ensure a smooth transition:

  • B1 Exam Success: We provide support to help you pass the B1 level German language exam, ensuring you have the necessary language skills.
  • Nostrification of Papers: We handle the process of recognizing and validating your educational and professional qualifications in Austria.
  • Honorar Consul Fees: We cover the costs associated with the Honorar Consul services.
  • Visa and Flight: Your visa application and flight expenses are taken care of by us.

Living and Working in Austria

  • Two-Year Contract: You will receive a two-year contract to work at House St. Josef, providing a stable start to your career in Austria.
  • Work Hours and Holidays: You will work 37 hours a week and enjoy 5 weeks of paid holidays each year. Additionally, Austria has several Catholic holidays where you won’t have to work.
  • Monthly Income: Your monthly salary will be around €2,400, paid 14 times a year, which includes health insurance and taxes.

Ongoing Education and Career Advancement

  • Career Progression: After passing the necessary exams, you can extend your stay for an additional five years and advance from a Pflegeassistenz to a Pflegefachassistenz. You may even pursue further qualifications to become a nurse with a diploma.
  • Austrian Citizenship: After six years of dedicated work in the health sector and a clear Interpol record, you can begin training for Austrian citizenship, which includes learning about Austrian history, culture, and lifestyle.
